       Identification, packaging, transportation, and storage of aerosol grade isobutane

       1. Aerosol grade isobutane packaging containers should have stable and clear markings, mainly including product name, brand trademark, product specifications, manufacturer name, production location, net weight, and production batch number.

       2. Aerosol grade isobutane should be packaged in dedicated isobutane packaged steel cylinders. Steel cylinders that have been reused multiple times should be coated with brown spray paint, with a white font style and steel stamp number and cylinder tare weight; Non reusable steel cylinders are coated with orange paint.

       3. When filling steel cylinders, they must comply with regulations, and the isobutane filling coefficient should not exceed 0.49kg/L.

       4. The first time using a steel cylinder, ensure that the inside of the cylinder is dry and clean; For recycled steel cylinders, positive pressure should be maintained inside the cylinder after use.

       5. Steel cylinders containing aerosol grade isobutane are pressurized containers, and ventilation should be maintained during loading, unloading, transportation, and safety helmets should be fastened. Collisions, dragging, dropping, and direct exposure to sunlight are prohibited, and combustible materials should be kept away. The transportation of steel cylinders should comply with the relevant regulations of the People's Republic of China on railway and highway transportation of dangerous goods.

       6. Storage of aerosol grade isobutane

       Aerosol grade isobutane should be stored in a ventilated, cool, and dry place, and the storage temperature should not exceed 30C; It should be stored separately from oxygen, compressed air, oxidants, etc; Do not approach heat sources and do not expose to sunlight or rain.

       The lighting, ventilation and other supporting facilities in the storage room should be explosion-proof, and the switches should be built outside the warehouse; The storage room must have warning signs prohibiting smoke and fire; There are fire and explosion prevention technical measures in place, and mechanical equipment and tools that are prone to sparks are not allowed to be used. Corresponding types and quantities of fire-fighting equipment should be equipped.

       7. Aerosol grade isobutane is a flammable gas. Mixing with air can form explosive mixtures, which can cause combustion and explosion when exposed to open flames and high heat.

       8. Aerosol grade isobutane is a low toxicity chemical. The main health hazards are anesthesia and weak stimulation. Acute poisoning mainly manifests as headache, dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, and drunkenness. In severe cases, fainting may occur; Chronic effects include symptoms such as headache, dizziness, poor sleep, and fatigue; When the above symptoms occur, it is necessary to evacuate the site in a timely manner.
